Obituary for Betty Mae Crowder (Hedrick)
Betty Mae Crowder, 73, of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Born March 5th, 1949 she was the daughter of the late John Richard Hedrick and Charlsie Lail Hedrick.
She is survived by two daughters Lori Crowder (Brad) of the home and Robin Pearson (Kevin) of Hickory; seven grandchildren Jamie Walker (Amber) of Lincolnton, Christopher Walker of the home, Alicia Fleming (Joshua) of Newton, Rayden Pearson of Hickory, Brian "Dalton" Crowder of Sherrills Ford, Sabrina Pearson of Newton, and Keith Pearson of Hickory; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister Ruby Gilbert of West Virginia; and a brother Charles Hedrick (Melissa) of Claremont.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Brian Keith Crowder; two sisters Doris Lowman and Louise Huffman; and a brother Johnny Hedrick.
The Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM Friday August 12, 2022 at Gateway Baptist Church 3105 Sandy Ford Rd, Newton, NC 28658 with Pastor Jerome Walker officiating. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 2:00 PM.
Caring Cremations is not involved in the Celebration of Life at the church.
