Earl Lewis Lane, 65, of Vale passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home. Born August 26th, 1957 he was the son of the late Velma Louise Bradshaw. He was a loving dad and grandfather who loved his family and friends and spending time fishing. Earl will be greatly missed for his jokingly personality and sitting around talking.

He is survived by his four daughters Reace Storm, Jennifer Lane, Ashley Lane, and Jessica Brittany Lane all of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren Scott Lawson, Adam Lawson, Austin Lawson, Ciera Oliva (Noah), Justin Correll, Miranda Lane, Wesley Howell, Addie Black, Zack Randall, Emily Randall, and Delaney Lane; two sisters Alda Lingerfelt and Sarah Towery; one brother Carroll Bivens; eleven great-grandchildren Colton Starnes, Kaydance Starnes, Elijah Oliva, Caleb Lawson, Noah Lawson, Addison Lawson, Zayden Brown, Mason Brown, Grayson Brown, Hayden Ryan, and Makenna Howell; the mother of Reace and Jennifer, Donna Gales; and the mother of Ashley and Jessica Brittany, Theresa Richard.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother Albert Bradshaw.
