Obituary for William Alfred Krueger
William Alfred Krueger, 73, of Hickory passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 26th, 1949 he was the son of William Louis Krueger and Helen Buhrke Krueger. William loved being on the water and spending as much time with his grandchildren as he could. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Back Krueger of Hickory; a daughter Heather La Vigne (Rich La Vigne) of Evanston, IL; three grandchildren Zach La Vigne (12), Gunnar La Vigne (9), and Hazel La Vigne (6).
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Krueger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society or Christ Church Mountain View at 2416 Zion Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602.
The family is planning to hold a private memorial service at a later date.
